US News: September, 2025 - School Shootings, Worker Shortages, and Political Theater

September 9, 2025

In the wake of the Minneapolis Catholic school shooting, we're left asking fundamental questions about parenting, society, and violence. Was this another nice kid in the neighborhood who received the unconditional love of a parent, or was this an incident of "I don't care" parenting where everyone gets a trophy? Modern parenting through indulgence—like saying he needs the drug to get through this, or supporting a name change from male to female—perhaps signals something deeper, a rebellion against parents who simply wonder how these people get their guns. At least ask them for a motive? Perhaps both the shooter and the victim represent something symbolic, and the conversation inevitably gets right back to the gun. Perhaps Governor Walz will identify that the shooter bought his guns in a red state, or does he think semi-automatic means no humans needed?

Lawyers and judges—as long as there are politicized individuals , Harvard , non-profit legal centers ( tariffs ), and legalized political groups —the entire political class (Congress) is reduced to a secondary role, with the Supreme Court serving as president? If you consider the interest of some Democratic leaders to add DC and Puerto Rico as states and place 11 judges on the Supreme Court, you no longer need political parties. What is the difference between this and a dictatorship, Marxism, or Leninism ? Certainly not much. Fateh was the top delegate winner at Minneapolis' Democratic Farmer-Labor Party convention last month. This is the same organization the current DNC Chair touts as his roots—smokescreen politics. The case for it all: it is a family affair , the defendants of El Chapo and the Venezuelan fathers. "The Trump administration's use of a wartime statute during peacetime to regulate immigration was rightly shut down by the court," Lee Gelernt, who argued the case for the American Civil Liberties Union, said. "This is a critically important decision reining in the administration's view that it can simply declare an emergency without any oversight by the courts."

Perhaps this explains the sound bites from left-leaning news reporters who miss the adults in the room, or the wish to keep the deep state running the nation. Is that why some governments ban books but call it all democratic ? Communism or totalitarians hard at work. All part of the Soros family ?

Labor Day only for the elites and unions— freelance seems to the authoritarian like freedom. It is perhaps not social if you try to make an extra buck as an entrepreneur; align and get in line for the free grocery. This must be part of the workers over billionaires movement. In German, they call it Oma against everything, the right wingclimate —or simply crowds on demand , as a money laundering operation for NGOs.

The US worker problem, created over the years by outsourcing , can it be reversed? It will certainly need some serious discussions. The scale of the labor gap is hard to overstate. Manufacturing openings remain stubbornly high while other sectors have cooled. Companies are hiring and training but still cannot keep pace. Retirements are taking out experienced workers faster than they can be replaced. Deloitte and The Manufacturing Institute estimate nearly 2 million positions could remain vacant through 2033 if nothing changes.

Immigrants, who make up about a fifth of the manufacturing workforce, are another factor. They represent more than 19% of workers in durable goods and more than 22% in nondurable manufacturing. This is a trade-off with colleges. On the other hand, we have 2 million plus lawyers. You decide, compared to other countries, if we all need them, but it is hard to go from a minimum of $150 (clerk) to perhaps $40 an hour. Issue more visas and change the public perception —manufacturing provides a good life.

So, you are asked how many people died from COVID in the US, and your answer is "I don't know"—probably the most honest answer you can give. While the WHO's worldwide confirmed death toll is 7,077,725 through December 1, the organization estimates that there were a massive 14.9 million "excess deaths" associated with the virus in 2020 and 2021 alone. The figure includes both confirmed COVID-19 deaths and indirect ones caused by "the pandemic's impact on health systems and society." Because nobody knows, and the statistics are more justification of actions than an accurate record. America, the leader in obesity that leads to consequential diseases, now has an HHS leader more focused on health than pharma and food industries, whose lobbying power is more influential than Congress can handle. If you take Coke and McDonald's off the list, you cut obesity in half? Perhaps if politicians would actually use their brains and analyze, not litigate, you would actually solve problems. I remember some days when cooking classes and nutrition were part of a school curriculum, as was handcraft. It seems our focus has shifted to the pill. More than 131 million people— 66 percent of all adults in the United States—use prescription drugs, and as with everything else, they're imported. Here are some stats , and honoring the fired CDC workers , but no one actually published their credentials. And then you ask, did the created panic around COVID bring more profits for the pharma industry ? And where are the lawyers to start a class action for all the kids suffering ? But no worries—there is always a psychological explanation.

But caution: some pundits warn of excessive workouts. Just letting you know, everything not Democrat-recommended is not healthy. Wonder if the author of the article ever tried 100 pull-ups or push-ups. "Most people can't even perform five strict push-ups with proper form , or a single pull-up, without compensating," said Chris Smits, a personal trainer based in Toronto. "Pushing for such high numbers without the necessary strength foundation can quickly lead to poor form, overcompensation and a high risk of injury, including serious muscle strains or tears." Looks like the NYT could not find a US fitness guru. Perhaps Chris Cuomo can help.

The Democratic Party Shutdown Strategy: We've got ANTIFA and Weathermen in Congress, and a shutdown to please the 5%—is that a winning strategy? Perhaps a clear indication that the Democratic Party no longer exists. It is a Kimmel–Colbert–Springsteen sound-setting orchestra, with tunes from Rosie, Joy Reid, The View and Psaki, and MSNBC and other leftist commentators. Schumer and Jeffries are no longer relevant; the squad rule is on. Thank you, Bernie and Soros, but the shutdown will hopefully silence all government waste, a shutdown DOGE? If we miss you, we let you know, but for now, it is the Republicans in favor 70:30. Here's an explainer: fight, fight, fight against Trump—the only reasoning the Democrats offer these days. We need to elect politicians, not litigators and Soros activists. Axios has reported throughout the year how Hill Democrats have been besieged by an increasingly angry base demanding that they " fight harder " and "do something" about Trump. – In February, shortly after President Trump's inauguration, it was voters blowing up Democrats' phone lines with demands to "fight back" against DOGE. – In March, it was angry crowds gathered at town halls to chew Democrats out for purportedly not doing enough to resist Trump, which some lawmakers compared to the rise of the Tea Party. – By July, Democratic lawmakers were expressing concerns about their base demanding they put themselves in harm's way to draw attention to the administration's use of physical force. But it looks like the Democrats are united, with presidential candidates proposing and supporting the radical stance. Just wonder: Gavin Newsom urged Democrats to stand firm amid the government shutdown Friday, saying, "You lose leverage, you lose this country." ANTIFA leverage? The shutdown —essential and non-essential—or why are there government non-essential functions? Are the SPLC (no leftists), ACLU, ANTIFA , and the Redneck Revolt all part of non-essential feeding grounds? And what about academia ? Or are we at the start of a John Brown revolution, with unidentified actors/founders ? Portland, Oregon: Portland Oregon —why is ICE and the Trump administration so focused on Portland? It looks like an Eldorado to live in the state and city , but also a hotspot of the rebellion, because the elite rulers use it to provide what? A one-party state for many years . Oregon hasn't always had a lack of affordable housing, costly and poor-performing public schools, high taxes and heavy regulations on businesses, rampant drug addiction and homeless campers everywhere. Whom do you blame for all of this? Perhaps because people move there to live a hippy life—I mean a happy life—or the political mix. The people in rural areas don't care if the cities get waxed by anti-fascists. A 2008 analysis by political statistician Nate Silver on states' political ideology noted that the state's conservatives were the most conservative of any state (more so than Utah or Tennessee) and that the state's liberals were more liberal than any state (more so than Vermont or D.C.). For now, a Trump judge ruled in favor of ANTIFA . Let the demolition go on—happy winter. 'Justice has been served': Gov. Tina Kotek, others praise judge's ruling blocking troops to Portland. FBI Political Affiliations: Is the FBI politically Republican-charged? There is some social media claim that since the 1950s, no Democrat was leading the FBI. If you are counting James Comey, Robert Mueller, and Christopher Wray as Republicans, you perhaps need to note there is a litany of Trump haters in the Republican Party. But for good measure, it is called the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and nominations are approved by Congress and controlled by the AG and the US intelligence committee. Wonder why this is a question when Trump is president? Looks to me, with 90% lawyers on committees, like a straightforward legal matter. And shifting priorities —left and right have extreme activism . It is just a question of who you ask, so why not check them both accurately? But mental sickness is not part of an ideology—unless some publishers are politically biased.
